As part of her participation in this year’s Malta Mediterranean Literature Festival, Elizabeth Grech’s work will also feature in the exhibition In-Numri tal-Baħar.

The exhibition explores twenty poems by Anton Buttigieg and Elizabeth Grech through the lens of quantitative analysis. Combining scientific and mathematical research with data visualisation, it offers an original way of reading poetry, revealing both the shared threads and the distinctive voices of the two poets.
Rather than presenting numbers as an end in themselves, In-Numri tal-Baħar uses them as a starting point for reflection, encouraging visitors to return to the poems and discover new layers of meaning, emotion and storytelling.
