Mana Chuma Teatro is collaborating with the Italian dancer Alessandra Barilla in the framework of an artistic project she initiated. In November 2021, Alessandra Barilla is organising a creative laboratory open to Burkinabe dancers in close collaboration with Lacina Coulibaly, dancer and choreographer and Luca Fusi actor and director who will accompany her throughout this project.
The outcome from this laboratory will be presented on 20 November at the Théâtre du Soleil in Ouagadougou.
The collaboration with Lacina Coulibaly stems from a perfect synergy that unites the two Italoburkinabe worlds.
Alessandra Barilla collaborates as a volunteer with the humanitarian association Legamondo, Turin (to which she donates a large part of the fees allocated for this project).
This project is supported by the Italian Consulate in Ouagadougou and the Italian Embassy in Burkina Faso with Ambassador Andrea Romussi in the front line.
